Building Code Violations

• Emergency Lighting and Exit signs are a critical component to a safe work environment. Having these units checked monthly is not only important but it is the LAW. If you have a property with exit signs and emergency lighting the LAW requires that the following be done to be compliant.
  • Monthly testing
  • Annual Testing
  • Log Book kept on premises
  • All units tagged with date of inspection
• Each violation can result in a $500 fine per unit
• Insurance companies have denied claims if units have not been properly maintained.
